Our Typical Day

Planned & Un-Planned Activities
Due to each child's differing speed of development, the needs of each child will vary greatly. One child may want to play the same game again and again, while another may get bored after a few minutes and want to move on to something else. Therefore play should not be too structured. Children need the freedom to change the course of their activity and develop independence in thought and ideas.
Activities include: Toddler groups / Soft Play / Library / Local Parks / Beach / Messy play / Trips to Woods / Event or outings and varied choice of toys.
Outdoors
I have a fully enclosed rear garden. Amongst the toys and equipment which are available are; a sand pit, bicycle, scooters, mini trampoline, pram and a activity gym. There is also a selection of outdoor sports equipment such as balls, hobby horses and golf as well as access to local parks.
Indoors
To ensure your child remains happy and stimulated at all times, there is a variety of toys and resources:
For very young children there are stimulating noise and colour toys for older children there is , puzzles, dressing up, musical instruments, books, and a multitude of art and craft materials. I provide a computer, complete with internet, which is used for educational purposes and always supervised. In this day and age, I believe it is important for children of all ages to become familiar with the use of computers.
